Jessica Apfel

Jessica is a Co-Founder of Riverstone Associates. She has over twenty years experience in the leadership industry working with boutique advisory firms and global firm Heidrick & Struggles. Jessica brings the unique skills of organisational psychology combined with C-Suite assessment and board effectiveness to executive search. Jessica has led a number of high-profile Chair and CEO Succession processes, as well as many Non-Executive Director search processes. She works closely with Boards to provide insightful assessment data for effective governance, selection, succession, and development planning. She facilitates executive team workshops and coaches’ leaders who are transitioning into C-Suite roles.

Jessica’s clients have included many of the ASX top 100 including Westpac, Aurizon, Aristocrat and BHP as well as private firms such as NEC, KPMG, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, and Port of Newcastle. She has worked extensively in not-for-profit and currently supports an indigenous mentoring program, ID.Know.Yourself, pro-bono. She is a mentor in The Wild Collective, a program helping women with disabilities to move into leadership roles. Jessica holds a master’s in business administration from MGSM. She also holds a Bachelor of Human Resources (Psychology & Business) from Macquarie University and is a Justice of the Peace, NSW. She is accredited in a range of credible psychological instruments.

Daniel Coone

Daniel is a Co-Founder of Riverstone Associates, Daniel worked in executive and board search for over twenty years for global and domestic search firms. His most recent experience included ten years at Heidrick & Struggles, one of the world’s major executive search firms where he worked on a wide range of senior assignments across multiple market sectors. He has completed search assignments for boards and key executives across a wide range of organisations and sectors including: ASX listed companies, private capital backed companies, and not-for-profit companies/profit-for-member companies and has met or interviewed in excess of 10,000 people.

Daniel is an occasional mountain climber, distance runner and with two relatively young children, a family man. He holds a BA Honours in Politics and History from the University of Wales, has completed a number of graduate courses in financial services and applied finance from KAPLAN and has attended a bespoke executive program at Harvard.

Kristin Jonsson

Kristin Jonsson

Kristin brings more than 20 years of international experience in Senior Executive Search, working with clients in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. She co-built the Technology and CIO practices for a boutique firm in Sydney, which was later acquired by a global executive search firm. At Heidrick & Struggles and Russell Reynolds Associates, Kristin worked with many of Australia’s leading companies, as well as assisting start-ups in recruiting advisors and executives.

Travel, technology and international relations are some or Kristin’s main passions. She is the founder of the boutique travel business, Echo Experience Patagonia, where she makes travel dreams come true for her international clients and is a very proud ambassador for Chilean Patagonia.

Kristin holds a Master of Science, Informatics, from Jonkoping University, Sweden. Having completed postgraduate studies in business intelligence and strategic marketing in the US, she started her professional career in Chicago as a consultant with a CRM and loyalty marketing firm, before moving to Sydney in 2002.

Kristin is a board member and executive mentor with the International Professional Women’s Association (IPWA), in Santiago, Chile and a founding board member of the Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce’s, Young Professionals group in Sydney.

Anthea Collinet

Anthea is an experienced project coordinator with Riverstone. She has experience with all facets of project coordination across leadership development and executive search projects. For over a decade she has worked with Chairs, CEOs, and their assistants to ensure seamless project delivery and a positive customer experience.

Anthea has a demonstrated history of working in the legal industry and executive search. She is skilled in negotiation, business planning, risk management and customer service.

Anthea is passionate about first-class client relationship management and has worked with some of Australia’s top executives. She holds a certificate in office administration and business operations from TAFE NSW.

Oscar Newton

Oscar is Director of Research at Consilium Global Advisors covering alternatives, Buyside , investment banking and global markets. He is responsible for building and developing bespoke data solutions for clients. Oscar has worked directly for CEOs and heads of business on strategic mandates across alternatives, investment banking and global markets in EMEA, the Americas and Asia Pacific. Previously, he was an engagement manager in the financial services practice at Heidrick & Struggles for five years. Oscar has 14 years’ experience in executive search.
